IRA expert Ed Slott has joined the American College of Financial Services faculty as professor of practice. He will contribute to the college’s Retirement Income Certified Professional program and support its faculty focused on retirement distribution planning.

The RICP coursework is intended to help advisors to understand and execute “sustainable retirement income strategies” that include “best practices in Social Security claiming, evaluating and addressing risks faced in retirement [and] planning for long-term care needs,” the College said in a statement.
